"Architecture & Travel" event, 17th October

A Presentation of recent research supported by ADAM Architecture

On Wednesday 17th October at the Discovery Centre in Winchester from 6.30pm to 9.30pm.

For the past 15 years ADAM Architecture has awarded an annual Travel Scholarship to support a student or recent graduate of architecture to undertake a significant piece of original research.

Three of our recent Travel Scholarship winners will present their research findings and tell the story of their travels - James Hills "The Villa Suburbana and the Garden (Italy); Sam Little "The Seljuk Minaret: Triumph of the tower" (Iran); and Tarn Philipp "Architecture as Sculpture; Rock-hewn Churches (Ethiopia).

Also, one of our current research fellows, Margo Socha, PhD student at Oxford Brookes University, will present her interim findings on the role of landowners and their legacy projects in improving the quality of housing UK developments.

It promises to be a very interesting evening and we hope you are able to come. Places are free but must be reserved via our Eventbrite page, using this link: https://goo.gl/6Fo8Ne. Refreshments will be served during the evening.
