A team of us at ADAM Architecture took on the challenge of running the Winchester Half Marathon on 23rd September to raise money for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance. The team was made up of some regular runners and some completely new to running, together we trained hard for the challenge of running 13.1 miles in and around Winchester, some of which was extremely hilly, and on the day the weather was a little challenging with strong winds and rain!! But we did it, we all completed the run and thanks to the generosity of friends, family and colleagues, we raised an amazing £3,102.50.
We were delighted to be invited to the HIOWAA airbase at Thruxton in Wiltshire to present our cheque to members of the HIOWAA team.
