Hugh Petter was part of the expert team celebrating getting to the chimney milestone last week at Nansledan in Newquay, Cornwall. The millimetre-perfect roof build up, chimney and vent collaboration on the Hub Building roof slid together flawlessly. This including placing the salvaged bell on the new nursery school.
A really proud moment for all involved and a testament to what can be done when a great team brings together their ideas, skills and experience and go the extra mile in pursuit of excellence.
The Hub building and nursery school are part of the new Hub complex on the new high street in Nansledan which will also include a café, plus retail and office space.

Nansledan is a 218 hectare mixed use urban extension to Newquay, led by the Duchy of Cornwall. Over time Nansledan will evolve into a community of more than 4,000 homes and 4,000 jobs with its own high street, school, public spaces and other public facilities, helping to meet the future needs of Newquay in a complementary and sustainable way, and acting as a catalyst to strengthen the local economy.
