Farm Restoration & Extension
The Cotswolds

A project that involved the regeneration of a Cotswold farming estate. ADAM Architecture was commissioned to design a master plan for the site, to prevent further decline of a series of listed houses. Central to the proposal was the refurbishment of the principal property and the creation of a new extension and link building. These were designed in response to local building traditions and the form and massing of the surviving house. Elsewhere on the site, several semi-derelict farm buildings and the four other listed houses were restored for use as estate accommodation. The surrounding grounds were carefully re-landscaped and modern farm structures were demolished.
