The Grade II* Listed building on Dollar Street, set back slightly from the pavement, is close to Cirencester town centre. The proposal is to return the buildings to private houses, from their previous use as offices. 30 Dollar Street will be converted to a six bedroom house, and 32 Dollar Street will be subdivided along an existing spine wall to create two houses each with four bedrooms. The external alterations will be kept to a minimum and will be confined to the rear of the building, including the reinstatement of private gardens. The internal alterations will be limited and carefully considered to have the least impact on the historic significance of the building. In certain cases the opportunity will be taken to remove later alterations that detract from the historic building.
