ADAM Architecture returns to WOW!house 2026
We are pleased to announce our return to WOW!house 2026 at Design Centre Chelsea Harbour. Following last year’s successful installation, ADAM Partner Darren Price has reworked and evolved his façade design for this year’s exhibition, opening to the public on the 2nd June.
The 2026 façade retains and adapts key elements from the 2025 structure, reflecting WOW!house’s focus on reuse and longevity. With a refined loggia, new elevated elements and carefully detailed stone steps, the design offers greater depth and hierarchy while remaining rooted in classical principles.
Speaking of his return to WOW!house, Darren says:
"Returning to WOW!house offers the opportunity to deepen the conversation rather than repeat it. This year’s show places a strong emphasis on reuse and longevity, which aligns closely with our own values. Rather than reinstalling the WOW! façade from 2025, this is about reinvention and evolution, demonstrating that good design is not disposable, but adaptable and enduring. WOW!house provides the perfect platform to explore how architecture can evolve, respond and stand the test of time."
Sustainability is central to the project. Many components have been reused, and after the exhibition, materials will be dismantled with future reuse in mind. We're collaborating with Size Group to deliver the installation, combining craftsmanship, technical expertise and a shared commitment to long‑lasting design.
In addition to designing the façade, Darren has also designed a new Garden Folly in collaboration with Hector Finch, for Studio Enass. Drawing on the tradition of the classical garden folly, the façade scheme explores a softer, more expressive side of architectural language. Tented canopies, drifting veils and carefully considered lighting create a sense of intrigue and quiet theatricality, while proportion and symmetry remain gently anchored in our classical foundations.
Speaking of working in collaboration with Darren on the new Garden Folly, Emma Finch, Director of Hector Finch says:
“The opportunity to collaborate with an architect working on the cutting edge of progressive classical architecture was sprung on us like a fawn emerging from the forest, and the process of working with someone with originality and vision like that of Darren Price of ADAM Architecture has been an incredible gift. To see the creative process and be part of it has truly enhanced my understanding of the design process in its broadest sense and to have had our lanterns selected for this project and produce bespoke finials for the scheme an absolute delight.”
WOW!house 2026 opens to the public today, closing on the 2nd July at the Design Centre Chelsea Harbour.
