A new chapter for ADAM Architecture

For the last three years we have been reflecting more closely on how we communicate our work and values.

Working collaboratively across our teams in Winchester and London we have been developing a new visual identity to communicate the diversity of our portfolio and what defines us as a practice; our history, principles and ambition to champion traditional architecture fit for the 21st century.

After consulting several leading design agencies, we appointed Studio Small to develop our rebranding. We were impressed by their attention to detail and ability to listen and engage deeply with the many facets of our practice.

Alongside Studio Small we have developed a new marque, a suite of documents and marketing materials, and a completely redesigned website. We believe our new public identity perfectly expresses continuity alongside our ambition to embrace the future and keep evolving.

Guy Marshall of Studio Small comments:

“The rebrand of ADAM Architecture began not with a visual idea, but with a way of understanding the practice itself. Through research, workshops, and conversations, one thought in particular stood out. George Saumarez Smith described the practice as being akin to a Lebanon Cedar, an image that became both a lens and a foundation for the project. The Lebanon Cedar is ancient, enduring and expansive. It is deeply rooted yet continually growing outward. This duality – permanence and progression, felt intrinsically true to ADAM. A practice grounded in classical principles yet never constrained by them. A body of work shaped by tradition but always responding to the present and projecting into the future.”

We are excited to announce this next chapter in our evolution. It is not a departure, but a natural progression of our identity, more accurately reflecting who we are today and our vision for a sustainable and ambitious future.

Our thanks to all those involved in this collaborative process.
