Designing for the Caribbean – The work of ADAM Partner Robbie Kerr

At ADAM Architecture, we have the privilege of working in diverse locations around the world, designing a variety of buildings from private residences to public landmarks. Our approach celebrates traditional architecture while reflecting local culture and respecting the natural and urban environment.

Robbie Kerr has a passion for designing internationally and is keen to learn from the broader global understanding of traditional and classical architecture. He has a wide portfolio of work in the Caribbean, alongside projects in Angola, Nigeria, Ghana and Hong Kong. His international work spans luxury homes, public buildings and ocean front developments – each thoughtfully crafted to reflect the region’s architectural heritage and identity.

Robbie explains: “The set of rules in classical architecture can be adapted to meet most situations. Our understanding and adaptation of the local vernacular, wherever we work, evolves to ensure that it is always relevant to the way buildings are used today.
