Nansledan wins a CNU Charter Award at Merit level

We’re delighted to announce that Nansledan has been awarded a 2026 CNU Charter Award at Merit level.

Presented annually by the Congress for New Urbanism, the Charter Awards recognise outstanding achievements in urban design and placemaking. Widely regarded as one of the most prestigious honours in the field, the awards celebrate projects that create vibrant, sustainable communities where people truly enjoy living.

In its citation, the CNU highlights Nansledan’s thoughtful design approach: “Nansledan is divided into eight distinct neighbourhoods, each located within a five-minute walk of a local centre. These micro-civic hubs are arranged around a square or green and feature a mix of uses, enabling residents to meet their daily needs on foot.”

Masterplanner and ADAM Partner Hugh Petter attended the CNU Congress and Awards ceremony this May to celebrate the achievement.
