StuCAN festival

We were proud to support the 2025 StuCAN Festival, organised by Architects Climate Action Network (ACAN) — a charity promoting sustainability in architecture.

This year’s festival took place in Glasgow at The Civic House, in collaboration with The Glasgow School of Art. The theme was “Entanglement”, which explored connections between land, communities, materials and systems through a live build, seminars and sustainable building tours.

Poppy Dodd, Architectural Assistant at ADAM Architecture, volunteered as a Participant Coordinator for the festival: “Since joining the Student Climate Action Network (StuCAN) in July, our team has invited over 120 students from the UK and Ireland to take part, giving future architects the tools to design with climate in mind. Growing up in the North Pennines, I’m thrilled to help bring a student-led sustainability festival to Glasgow and expand architectural learning beyond London.”

Our sponsorship helped fund materials for the live build and community meals throughout the festival.
