Alison Duthie, Director of People and Governance

Alison Duthie was appointed chief financial officer and a member of the executive board in November 2022. Following a restructuring of the executive board in May 2026, Alison moved into the role of director of people and governance.
She joined ADAM Architecture in 2005 as a chartered tax adviser from a corporate tax background in large corporations and private practice. She initially led financial management, strengthening reporting and introducing data analytics to support better decision making. Her role soon expanded to HR. That same year she was appointed chair of the company’s newly formed management board with the aim of providing strategic support to the senior leadership team. She continues to play a central role in shaping strategy and ensuring long-term business success.
Alison became an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) in 2021.
