Wayne Reakes, Director of Operations

Wayne Reakes joined ADAM Architecture in 2003 as a student. He was appointed to the executive board in 2022 and became director of operations in 2026.
Wayne has been the lead on projects ranging from new country houses, the conservation of listed country houses and estates, prestigious commercial buildings, large scale mixed-use developments and high-end interior refurbishments.
His primary role now is defining and implementing our strategy as a business, as well as overseeing operations and ensuring that we offer the highest standard of service to our clients. He has an overview of all projects and closely monitors larger projects within the practice, offering strategic advice and support.
Throughout his career Wayne has demonstrated a passion for craftsmanship and detail and has a strong practical understanding of architectural project management, planning, procurement and contract administration.
Wayne is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects and TAG at the RIBA. He has links with various business groups and regularly works with local universities, including Southampton Solent University, supporting their teaching programme.
