The refurbishment of this Grade 1-listed property, in collaboration with interior designer Henrietta Spencer-Churchill, required significant technical expertise and skill in dealing with both Westminster Council and the Grosvenor Estate to complete the removal of recent incongruous alterations and restore the home’s character and status.

The floor plan was expanded by enclosing two storeys of a rear lightwell to provide a new gym and a formal breakfast room, with new services concealed to maintain the appearance of the original 19th century residence. Traditionally designed interiors include timber panelling, fibrous plaster ceilings and large octagonal roof lanterns.
