Restoration after a fire

We were appointed to reinstate this listed property as a family home following a fire, restoring and repairing where possible and replacing elements that could not be saved.

Both the 16th century hall house and 17th century northern wing of the manor were successfully restored with enhanced energy efficiency. A late 20th century wing and a later double-storey wing to the south had to be demolished and were replaced with a new wing and a conservatory that are visually more sympathetic in size, height, materials and massing to the older part of the house.
